Farming background

2022-2024 General farm worker on a farm interlinked with a racing stud farm. Looked after 200 head Angus beef cattle, calving, rearing and looking after them. I also helped to maintain the farm and the grounds in general. During this time I gained farm manager experience as I worked in a small team where the opportunity arose in my last year. Therefore, I gained 6 months of experience sorting the paperwork side of things as well as covering the rest of the role.

2024- worked on a much bigger farm which had 300 head beef and a large dairy heard. I was predominantly working looking after the beef and young stock but also rearing the calves and occasionally helping with the dairy.
