2023- Estate, assisting in the lambing shed making sure all lambs and ewes where healthy, fed, clean and dry. That any treatment was marked on the board. And pens were covered in bio dry with fresh straw ready for anything coming in from the fields. Responsible for all pet lambs, making sure appropriate medication was administered. 2014-2015- General farm hand assisting in the day to day care of sheep and beef shorthorn cattle. We prepared our own cattle for the slaughter house, this included clipping of the joints while recording tag numbers. I grew up on a livestock farm, opening gates, pushing races and pens of sheep. Rolling wool and helping move animals. Ive also spent days back helping this farmer on occasion and helping shepherd friends when needed at busy times such as shearing.
