Responsible for the care of 240 Holstein/Friesian cows and followers Responsibilities include; Tom: All Milking and calving, AI of milking herd and youngstock (No bulls used on farm) All winter and summer feeding of cows and youngstock, All foot trimming, Initial Vet procedures (Washouts, milk fever, disbudding etc), Grassland management, computer records and Farmwizard, routine farm maintenance. Vicky: All Calf rearing and weighing, timing and recording of routine treatments (wormers, flukicides, vaccinations etc), Cubicle management, Scraping, all non computer records, Farm assurance, Arlagaden, stocktaking and procurement, liaison with and timing of contractors, maintenance of Farm standards
