07/22 - 01/24: farm worker on a 1200 cow dairy herd consisting of 3 separate dairy farms, mainly worked on the largest of the 3, milking 400 cows on a 32 unit herringbone parlour. Main duties included milking, mastitis control, record keeping of treatments, monitoring animal welfare using computer systems, calving, breeding, feeding, grass management and moderate tractor work.
07/21 - 04/22: farm hand on a 108 cow dairy farm milking in a 9 unit parlour. Main duties included evening milkings, cleaning of yards, animal welfare, strimming, hedge cutting and general farm maintenance.
