I have experience of driving and using a variety of machinery including, sidewinders, gators and run-arounds. I also have experience of a standing baler from my current role. I am a quick learner and can turn my hand to any machinery needed once shown.
I have volunteer experience from working at the a College Farm alongside another Farm. This has included, maintaining clean habitats of a variety of farm animals, ensuring appropriate feeding. I have helped with new born lambs, athough I wasnt lucky enough to be there during their birth. I have supported the farm managers with ensuring relevant medication is supplied in line with Veterinary guidance. I have experience of exercising smaller animals, but am more than happy to learn to exercise larger ones.

I have ASD, however this often proves benefical for employment, as I follow insturction carefully and take great pride in my work, as well as never being late and very rarely taking sick leave

I started in June 2022 as a park presentations host, the role involved all aspects of cleaning washrooms, sweeping one of seven areas, emptying bins, litter picking, sweeping floors & keeping the resort clean and up to high standard for our guests. I was given Guest Obsession training to help boost my confidence in talking to guests and given them directions. And all department training for safe use of chemicals. And use of Rubbermaids to complete area bin runs.
In September 2022 I moved on to the Waste & Recycling department, who manage over 30+ waste streams, including, general waste, wood, recyclable, Metal and engineering parts, Chemicals, Batteries whilst driving Company John Deere gators, towing waste bins for the safe removal of resort waste, also using Machines such as compactors, cardboard balers. Working to a high standard ensuring health and safety is adhered to by following company training and policies in place to stay safe. The role also consisted of safe use of skips and keeping skip levels to a load level for safe transport. during my time with the Waste & Recycling department I have also had the opportunity to work closely with the Zoo team, in clearing waste around zoo enclosures which would reduce the rodent activity, I have also had to tow animal waste bins and use a separate compactor for the removal of stable waste.
November 2023 till March 2023- I was given the opportunity to work for the technical services winter workers, in this role I was supporting both the Engineering, Facilities & Water technician, with moving tools & equipment form different jobs, cleaning out Leaves and Debris from water features, I also helped set up hose pipes ETC for the water technicians so they can carry out their duties.
March 2023 I will be returning to the Waste & recycling department for another season.
I have also learn the importance of working on my own and as part of a team.

Working within the greens keeping department, moving markers as required, raking out bunkers. Ensuring the course is clean and tidy for golfers. Using various pieces of machinery, including using electric vehicles to navigate the area.
