1974-76 Working on family-farm, 90 acres Arable, Pigs ,Sheep & Beef cattle whilst attending Askham Bryan College -Easingwold Day-release Centre, passing pre-National Diploma in Agriculture.

1976-79 Askham Bryan College [York] National Diploma in Agriculture including 1 year industrial experience on a 500 Sow Breeding unit & a 300 acre Beef & Sheep farm.

1979-89 Partner in family-farm, 90 acres Cereals, Potatoes & Sugar-beet, 130 Sow Breeding Unit, Beef Cattle & Sheep.

1989-2023 Relocation to 455 acre farm. Grass, Cereals, Sheep, Beef Cattle including Suckler Cows, Finishing Cattle & Calf-rearing. Pig Unit & Horse-Livery.
