10 years experience with sheep, beef and dairy.

Additional experience in managing farm diversification projects such as campsites and farm shops, open farm events, as well as administrative/office work as and when required.

Experienced with sheep, beef and dairy cattle, equine, small sale poultry operations, and camelids. Competent with tele-handlers, stock trailering, and basic tractor work - would be keen to learning more with machinery.

2024-Current Head Shepherd/Stockman

Running 2,000 ewes and 100 beef cows with followers

2023-2024 Assistant head shepherd for 1500 head herd of milking sheep. Lambing 6 times a year. Identifying and treating illness, keeping records, electric fencing, assisting in creating grazing plans, relief milk, relief TMR feed, relief youngstock rear, as well as responsible for all general maintenance for the flock

2022-2023 Shepherd/Herdsperson. Responsible for 900 head sheep flock, and assist with 100 head suckler herd. Head calf reared, milked HF 20/20 herringbone parlour, assisting vet visits

2020-2022 Self employed shepherd and youngstock rearer (lambs and kids)

2019-2020 GFW and diversification manager. Solely responsible for sheep, cattle, pigs, poultry, llamas, alpacas, equines through lockdown - only member of staff on site during full lockdowns. Managed staff/rotas, advertised and managed farm diversification projects such as campsites and farm shop, and created and advertised ticketed events on an open farm for seasonal events.
