Have driven tractors with loaders and loaded muck spreaders and feed cows with bale spikes and squeeze. Have some experience of tractor and trailers and moving dung around.
I have completed three lambing placements and have lambed my own small flock of sheep. During one lambing placements I also helped out with calving and general farm duties. I continued to work on my lambing placement farm for an extra 6 months for experience dealing with cows, sheep, chicken and pigs on a small scale. I am used to working with sheep and cows drenching, vaccinating and clipping.

Outside of work I enjoy riding my horses and looking after my own animals, I am also part of the local young farmers club.

2021 lambing placement and work on mixed sheep and beef herd for 6 months. Was responsible for feeding and daily checks as well as helping dosing and vaccination. 2022 and 2023 lambing placements on a farm with 150 sheep outdoor lambing. Was responsible for daily chores and checking sheep and catching ewes and lambs to ring and tag lambs. Worked alone and with farm owner on a daily basis. I also have my own flock of sheep with Texel x and zwarbles that lambed for the first time this year. This was my full responsibility and was done along side lambing placement. I have also helped out on the colleges farm doing task such as dehorning vet visits and getting cattle in from fields and putting them out as well as helping at lambing time in 2022.
I am currently employed working on a stud farm working with large Percheron stallions .
