Been involved in dairy farming most of my life and been involved in house operations both dairy and arable. In my early 20's I was involved in silage making. This involved mowing with a JD 1360 (10 foot wide trailed mower), raking with a Krone vari width twin rotor rake, up to 30 feet in one swath. Running a silage trailer. Using a MF 50EX to push grass up, rolling of the pit. In more recent times I have driven a Fendt 716 pulling a 20 foot Baillie silage trailer (for a self propelled in house and sub contractored to a contractor) for grass and maize and used a JD 10 foot trailed mower. Also rolling of the silage pit. Straw carting with a 28 ft bale trailer. Driving a JCB /Merlo telehandler on the dairy farm. Feeding 160 dairy cows and youngstock with a diet feeder. Cleaning out of stock when required. I have used a 3m and 5 m power harrow on the Fendt 716. Muck/slurry spreading with West and rear discharge spreaders and tanker.
I have been involved in the full life cycle of the dairy cow from been born to end of life. Also the calf (beef) side of the dairy. I have milked in 16:16, 10:20, 20:20 and 22:44 parlours. I can AI and foot trim. Vet routine visits and diagnosis on farm for treatment.

Been involved in dairy farming most of my life. Owned and managed a very high genetic herd in the past. I have worked on a dairy farm with 3 robots. More on the machinery side rather than livestock side but can do both (because that was the job role alongside the owner). Subsequently I have milked a 220 cow herd on an emergency basis for a relief agency. Milked as a lead milker in a 22:44 fast exit parlour milking just over 400 cows.Worked on a pedigree beef farm.
