Farming background

Growing up on a farming estate on the west coast working alongside my father then into the greater working environment. I acquired work while at collage to gain experience which became a permanent job as a shepherd. I had a period where I was self employed as a contract shepherd back home on Islay and Jura, to be closer to my fiancé. We then moved to Dalmally where I was a hill shepherd but I was looking for more responsibility. After a period returning home working as a farm manager/ profit share we applied for the position I am currently in, managing a large hill unit with 2 members of staff. Please view my CV for full work history.
