A commercial ewe flock of 500 Scottish balckface ewes and the Duncanziemere herd of pedigree Aberdeen Angus cattle. I also have a small amount of experience in dairy having milked before.

Farming background

From a family farm in Ayrshire, running a commercial flock of 500 ewes and a head of 70 pedigree Aberdeen Angus cows. Hardworking, motivated and compitent in livestock work which I enjoy doing. I did a lambing last year away from home for 4 weeks,worked in my holidays and weekends for a year on a hen rearing farm,worked on a beef and sheep unit for 6 months part time while at college and work at home also. I did a lambing for 5 weeks in the spring. Course finishes at the end of June which I will be seeking full time employment afterwards. Can get written reference if needed.

Hobbies

Actively involved in young farmers, and enjoy showing cattle which I have done from a young age at the Royal Highland Show. I also enjoy going out with friends when I have spare time.
