lambing Scottish Blackface ewes inside and getting both a mixture of Mule and Blackie lambs.  I was responsible for the feeding and water to the ewes both in single pens and big pens, making sure lambs had milk and not hungry and generally keeping an eye on any ewes lambing. The night shift got quiet after around 3 weeks so I moved onto day shift, with the little ewes waiting to lamb I was working on the farm carrying on General tasks including feeding cows, bedding cows with calves and helping out with any problems that occurred.

Worked part time for 4 summers on hill sheep farm. Worked weekends during college term bedding, mucking out, spreading slurry and muck. Worked month of April solo night lambing. Temporary work currently with contractor.

Hobbies

I play shinty with Inveraray Shinty Club and in 2017 we won the Bullough Cup and South Division 2.  At the annual prize giving in November 2017, I was voted by my team mates as player of the season.
