I spent time working on a cattle farm in Australia, I don't have a huge amount of experience but I am keen to learn and make a career out of it. I'm tough, hard working and not afraid to get stuck in.

Farming background

2011-2015  Sanctuary - ran the rehabilitation yard and everything that came along with running a horse yard. Feb 2016 - June 2016 - Waterfall Feedlot - Australia - Worked in a small team at a cattle station in outback Australia. Mostly dealt with the orphan calves; bottle feeding, caring for and administering medication for up to 200 calves at a time but helped the stockmen with the cattle when needed. Also looked after the working dogs and horses in the evenings. The Cottage Agistment Centre - Victoria, Australia - Yard Manager - July 2016 – September 2017 Ran the property, took care of paddock management and horse welfare. Made feed orders, dealt with vet/farrier/dentist when needed. Looked after visitors and potential clients to the property. Oversaw training of new girls, many of who were international visitors. General maintenance of the property. Handled variety of horses from 2 year olds plus, at various stages of work, made exercise plans and training programs and took out to shows or clinics when needed.
