Quad biking.  Other jobs which I am able to do are electric fencing, other fence erecting, concreting, woodwork, machinery maintenance, working in grain stores, grass and hedge cutting, combine maintenance, quad bike driving, and general upkeep of a high standard of cleanliness throughout the farm site.  My arable experiences include muck spreading, power harrowing, topping and rolling.

Farming background

My experiences include working closely with Cattle and sheep. I have also got experience in the arable sector, poultry and game keeping. Such experiences are showing Cattle at various different shows, winning young handler at the Gransden show, South Suffolk show and the inter-college handling at the Suffolk show. I have helped with the vaccinations, TB testing and halter training of cattle. I have also got experience in milking dairy cattle and disbudding calves. My sheep experiences include lambing, tail docking, castrating, medical administrations, health checking and foot trimming. I have done some small work with horses, pigs and goats and donkeys. My arable experiences include muck spreading, power harrowing, topping and rolling. My experiences in poultry is helping rear turkeys for a Christmas slaughter, helping in the medical administrations required, regular bedding, feeding and watering. I helped in the slaughtering process and butchering process which is carried out on the farm site. My game keeping experiences include rearing pheasants from 4 days old up until the shoot days, my jobs involved were setting up heat lamps, the accommodation set up, moving pheasants to release pens, setting up pest traps, tail clipping, biting and beak snipping, feeding and also catching the pheasants for laying, collecting eggs and washing the eggs. My experiences with horses are feeding, hoof cleaning, and medical administrations. I have shown a pig at the Young farmers rally, and have done some small work such as feeding and pen set ups. I have also done a little bit of work with goats and donkeys such as feeding, watering and mucking out. Other jobs which I am able to do are electric fencing, other fence erecting, concreting, woodwork, machinery maintenance, working in grain stores, grass and hedge cutting, combine maintenance, quad bike driving, and general upkeep of a high standard of cleanliness throughout the farm site.

Hobbies

I regularly go to the gym to do weight lifting, swimming and Sailing. I show Cattle at various different shows and enjoy shooting with friends.
