I am a 23 year-old committed and enthusiastic individual who has a passion for agriculture since a very early age. Since leaving university I have tried to gain as broad an experience as possible in the various agricultural sectors, but now wish to commit to working with livestock. I have completed 5 lambing seasons, and am a competent shearer and I have broad experience of both cattle and sheep work. Hard working, easy going and cheerful, I am a good communicator and can get along with any one. Known for my diligence and drive, I always give 100%.

Farming background

July - October 2016/2017 - Harvest work for Velcourt 2489 acres, grain carting and rolling. December 2016 - March 2017 - worked on a 2000ha mixed farm in New Zealand. My main jobs consisted of direct drilling forage crops and moving sheep and cattle. September 2015 - July 2017 - Desoglin Farm in Cumbria. 800 acres running 1500 sheep and 150 cows. Jobs included shearing lambing, calving and general stock management. Silaging, muck spreading, slurry spreading and spraying. July 2013 - September 2014 - Completed a year on a mixed farm in Northumberland. 2000 acre mixed farm. Responsible for beef and sheep work. Lambing, harvest work and silage. Returned for 3 harvests.
