A range of different tractor experience including mainly New Holland, but also Class, John Deere and Massey. Familiar with most cultivation equipment and done a small amount of drilling. Done some combine driving in a Class Lexion 460 (30ft cut). Good experience on a JCB telehandler in and around the yards for cattle/sheep work as well as loading grain lorries/stacking straw trailers. Passed my trailer test so able to tow a livestock box with a truck. Used to large 40ft artic trailers behind tractors as well as smaller trailers.

Other livestock experience

Range of lambing experience on different farms in England and Wales from a smaller 300 ewe outdoor flock, to a larger 1200 ewe indoor flocks. Took a more managerial as well as practical role of a 600 mule x suffolk flock for 3 seasons. Had some calving experience along side lambing work with both heifers and cows, including a pedigree limousine herd. Good experience of an 800 head extensive beef herd for three years, including all practical jobs as well as some of the managerial work such as choosing animals for slaughter, grazing and movement paperwork. Also a good knowledge of horses.

Farming background

2009 - 2011 - Weekend and summer job on a 500 acre arable farm with livery yard. 2011 - two weeks lambing experience for a 300 ewe outdoor flock. 2012 - Spring time lambing for a 1200 ewe indoor flock, some calving along side (returned in 2013 season again). 2012 - Harvest worker for an 800 acre arable farm. 2013 - Placement job on an arable (1600 acre) and livestock (800 head beef and 600 ewe) farm. Completed 15 months and then returned after I finished my course. 2011 - 2015 - Student at Harper Adams University studying Agriculture (with one year placement).

Range of hobbies including different sports and very interested in fieldsports.
