Other Information

Hi, I am known as Andy, a Farm Manager living and working on a farm in the Queenstown district, Eastern Cape, South Africa. I was born in Bedford in the Eastern Cape Province on the 24 June 1970 and I am 45 years old. I come from a farming background as my parents and my grandparents all farmed. I was born and raised on a farm in Bedford and at the end of my schooling career my dad sold the Bedford farm and bought a farm in Hofmeyr. My dad farmed with commercial cattle, commercial sheep, and goats. He also trained and showed American Saddlehorse. He had a tragic car accident, I took over and ran the family farm. Unfortunately, the farm was too small to carry my two brothers, my mom and myself, so therefore we decided to sell our family farm. I was employed, soon thereafter, as a Farm Manager and Professional Hunter for a Tarkastad Farmer and then had the opportunity to travel to the USA where I worked on an American Saddlehorse Farm. I then returned to South Africa and opened my own stables in Port Elizabeth, to train and show American Saddlehorses. I also trained children to ride and show their horses.
