Experienced herdsman/farm worker looking for a bigger and better challenge i have worked with a couple of large dairy herds from 1995 to 2013 as a relief milker and tractor driver in West Wales and here in North Yorkshire   I can be reliable and competent as a herdsman 44 year old dairy farmer from North Yorkshire  but would be happy to relocate

Tractors up to 160hp and forage harvesters (claas jaguar) trailers up to 18 tonne welgar round baler reco tedders and i can reverse a tractor and trailer and use round balers and trailed forage harvesters. The farms i worked on were between 150- 400 acres and i can pick grass and load in to trailers hitched to the forager and used a hydraulic post knocker as well as conventional small baling

Farming background

Church house farm till 2011 and took control of his father's farm near Pickering and sold the farm to A  who had a pedigree Jersey herd and helped him, Then in 2014 he stopped milking completely because of the low milk price 1996-present working on a farm at Botton Village which now has a large herd of Dairy Shorthorn cows
