Farming background

Left school in 1995 and worked on a mixed dairy farm until 2001 when i had a change to being a coal delivery man, I decided to go back to farming in 2003 when i went to work on a 300 acre mixed dairy doing milking and all tractor work (baling mowing straw/bale cart calf rearing etc. in 2006 i decided to try demolition so i had a year driving wheel loaders and 360 tracked machines, in 2008 i went to work on a 270 dairy unit where my role was to do the TMR feeding on a day to day basis i drove manitou telehandlers, also did the fertalizing and groundwork ie powerharrowing/ploughing. in 2016 i worked on a mixed farm doing relief milking and all tractor work including silaging grain cart ploughing cultivating slurry spreading and all stock tasks as well. Worked for Helen browning the organic herd for 18 months as an assistant herdsman before going to work for a high yielding herdnear Malborough Wiltshire , there I did the tmr feeding and calf rearing, plus did all the relief milking. Unfortunately the farm sold up and I'm currently on a small dairy/ arable farm near Bath Somerset, again this farm may be not going much longer so looking for a new challenge.
