Experienced in forklift operations such as mucking out, bale spiking and stacking, loading and unloading of trailers. Also experience of using tractor mounted post chapper when fencing, straw and silage carting and muck spreading. Use of quad bike with trailer and slug pelleter. Tractor makes I have used previously include John Deere, New Holland, Case and McCormick.

Lambing experience with commercial and hill flocks of Cheviot and Cheviot Mules, but also with Texel-cross and Suffolk-cross ewes. Experience of one season working with over 4000 store lambs and all work including foot trimming, shearing, dagging, crutching, dosing, injecting, dipping and selecting stock for breeding; working with both mobile and fixed sheep handling systems. Experience assisting in the running of 800 dairy-cross suckler herd put to Charolais and Simmental Bulls; including calving and intensive fat stock production. Experience of working with 200 pedigree Aberdeen Angus herd producing breeding stock. Other cattle work including foot trimming (but no qualification held), clipping for housing, bull fertility testing, disbudding calves, vaccinating, working with both mobile and fixed handling systems. Also all involved mechanised feeding and bedding of housed stock and out feeding.
