Experience with tractor handling through college, including safety and maintenance checks. Have done some ploughing and subsoiling. Have B+E trailer entitlement.Aiming for formal RTFL certification February-April 2016- something I will certainly have before harvest 2016.. Have done some ploughing and subsoiling at college, however am a fast learner and wanting to be proficient with all machinery.

Relief milker since August 2015 to a milking herd of approximately 280 HF with some Jerseys- completed over 120 shifts so far. Responsible for ensuring standards are maintained in milking and having a keen eye for detail to ensure yields are what they should be. Also required to administer oxytocin when required, occasionally rear calves and basic parlour maintenance. Have assisted with lambing season- helping with sorting, weighing, tagging and worming of lambs and ewes. Also helped with hay deliveries and did GFW for the same farmer. Stock experience with college livestock- disbudding calves, removing supernumerary teats, crutching tegs, worming and administering antibiotics.
