Farming background

I have over 17 years of experience with both sheep and cattle and have worked my way from General Farm Worker, to Stockman, to Working Farm Manager in my current role. My current role involves the day to day management of 100 suckler cows and 650 breeding ewes upon a lowland estate on the west coast of Scotland. As well as the stock, I am responsible for all the ground work, fencing and maintenance. The Estate also has forestry and properties which I assist in over seeing. I can work along or as part of a team and am consciences and hard working. I enjoy working outdoors and breeding good quality stock and improving stock through selective breeding.
