Im a 23 year old male from Ireland with tractor driving experience in the construction industry and home farm but am looking to further my experience To arable farming and silage production. I have experience on our home farm and in an agricultural machinery garage. On our home farm I do different jobs from carting bales, stacking bales during the silage season. I feed animals, do dump trailer work, low-loader and tanker work and other farm jobs including tele-handler work. I have also done some work with a local contractor during silage season taking grass to the pit. I have basic workshop skills, ive done washing and general maintenance aswell as other jobs in the garage. I have experience in driving various tractors and tele handlers and also experience on a 3 and 4 ton forklift to load and unload lorries and trailers with agitators mowers rakes tedders balers etc... I also have a CSCS (safe pass) and blue CPCS card for agricultural tractor witch I needed for driving a tractor in Scotland on the new bypass round Aberdeen I worked for 7 months there using different things from 28ft low loader to lime spreader to tanker and duno trailer work. I have a keen interest in the agri sector and am not afraid of work and get stuck in. I would love the opportunity to further my skills and learn more as I go along and also willing to learn more on livestock as this also is a great interest of mine.

I have drove tractors up to 250hp working in an agricultural machinery garage doing versions jobs such as washing and maintaining equipment loading and unloading lorrys and lowloaders plus delivering machinery every now and again, also running various equipment to check for damage or leaks. I have a farming background on my grandfathers farm to which my uncle now run doing various jobs with a Manitou MLT 629 telehandler and renault 110.54 and renault 133.54 tractors, jobs included are Stacking bales feeding cattle and sheep scraping pens, rolling fields, hedge cutting, transporting bales, dung and other materials. I have worked with one of my uncles doing construction work for a few years my job included driving a Ford 8340 tractor with herron dump trailer, lowloader, road brush and tanker, my roll was transporting a digger and front tipping dumper from site to site, transporting materials using dump trailer, sweeping roads to keep them clean for other road users and a tanker on sites and road to keep dust down or for emptying holes filled with water. Also have worked on a large construction site on the new aberdeen bypass tasks as above with an addition of lime spreading to help harden the ground to allow more soil to build up before putting down the stone. No relevant livestock experience bar moving livestock, assisting with vaccinating of sheep and cows, assisting with dipping of sheep and assisting with calving and lambing. Also have feed both sheep and cows during winter months and kept creep feeds stocked when animals are out. Id like to learn more as I have great interest in livestock.

Farming background on my grandfathers livestock farm with beef and sheep Worked in family butchers Working in a busy agricultural garage cleaning and maintaining machinery and tractors plus loading and unloading lorries also driving on home farm doing various jobs and also on construction sites such as the new aberdeen bypass driving a tractor with various inplements such as road brush, 2050 gallon redrock tanker, lime spreader, dump trailer and plant trailer.


Socialise either with friends or family. Go to markets. Maintain my vehicle and our tractors. Go for short drives or walks. Look up YouTube videos on contractors around the world and different agricultural forums. Tidy up around our home farm.
