Duties include: • Milking and covering one weekend in three independently • Calving • Identifying and treating either sick or lame cows • AI – identifying bulling cows and serving at the appropriate time, I achieved a 57% conception rate in my first block of service. • Grassland management • General yard duties Present stock duties have included lambing, and associated management task. Principle responsibility for calving 80 suckler cows, tagging and recording all births. Daily checking of all finishing cattle and part of the sheep flock treating any health problems that arise including hoof triming
