Farming background

Contract/self employed stockman to 220 Holsteins. Spring and Autumn calving with around 100 calves in each calving block. Dairy replacements plus beef calves all reared on farm. Relief Milking, tmr feeding, bedding and all yard work. Indoor lambing experience, contract sheep work - drenching, etc Tractor work: Feeding with TMR wagon, bedding, scraping. Also silage and grain carting.

Hobbies

My main interest is Rugby Union which I have played to a high standard since I was 8.. I enjoy many different activities associated with country pursuits and the countryside in general. In the last 3 years I have raised over £15,000 for charity by completing various walking and cycling challenges with friends. I also have a varied and active social life and am fortunate to have a great group of friends and a large, close family.
