Farming background

Grown up farms, Father was a farm manager. Part time employed by the age of 14 on the farm helping with lambings and tagging claves. Left School at 17 and went Full time on an Estates Farm as the stockperson. At the age of 22 I went self employed in the Scottish Borders, working during lambings and harvests, cultivating ground, general maintance work, stock work, Fencing, dry stone dyking, dozing, and crotching sheep. From the age of 24 to this present day I started full time employment as a general farm worker, helping look after 500 sheep and 300 suckler cows. Cultivate ground for seeding, Carting grain during the harvest, shifting bales, general farm maintance, lambing, calving.

Hobbies

Shooting, gardening, fixing cars, gundog training.
