Have driven tractors to 300 hp and can do all arable operations including combining and drilling. 1 years experience milking 180 cows 3 times a day. For the last 2 years been head stock man looking after 200 Simmental suckler heard and 500 mule ewes. Doing all day to day looking after and paperwork.

Farming background

Have worked on farm all my life. Went to Brooksby college at 16 did a first diploma in country side studies. After that went on to Bitteswell farm looking after chicks to end of laying birds egg collecting and milking feed. In 2001 took a job milking 180 cows 3 times a day as well as bedding an feeding and calf rearing .In 2003 took a job at ltd as a general farm worker looking after 150 polled Herefords and all tractor duties hedge cutting, mowing ,bailing , spraying , fertiliser spreading ,ploughing and some combine driving in 2010 they decided to sell the farm so started doing some contracting hedge cutting, plotting combine driving, drilling. In august 2013 moved down to Droitwich on a 1000 acre arable farm as the main sprayer operator 24 m houseman air-ride, also corn carting, discing and most ground work operations as well as slug pelleting on a quad For the last year have been working at Oak House farm Ipswich as a general farm worker with 40 head pedigree red poll cattle and a few old spot pigs only tractor driver doing all the spraying / spreading / hay/silage making combining with a Deutz 4080 all cultivation and drilling Since November 2014 have Been stockman to 30 white park cows 150 Hebridean and Portland sheep and 25 Iron Age pigs. Duties included helping out on the shoot / fencing / and general stock husbandry. Have a good lambing record only losing 1 lamb out of 100.

For the last 2 years have worked at WA Adams partnership as head stockman looking after 200 head suckler heard and 500 mules. Day to day running of farm and all paperwork. Helping out on the arable side where needed
