I recently lost my working collie that I trained to a high standard. I also have two working springer spaniels. I am a member of young farmer and have been to national level for fencing and entertainment.

Farming background

I have been brought up on a dairy farm. When I was old enough to work I starting helping local doing general farm work. I starting laming as soon as I could turn over a ewe. When I finished college I went and worked with 3000 ewe. After gaining a lot of experience there I went and ran a small farm in Cornwall with 40 suckler and 100 ewes. Then I worked as assistant manager on a 1400 acre farm with 1000 ewes and arable. After this I was a Working Farm Manager on a 600 acre estate with 300 acres arable and 300 acres grassland with 50 head stuckler herd and followers. Now I am currently a Stock Manager on a large beef farm with 1300 head of cattle on the farm.

Hobbies

I play in a local hockey team and have alway done some sort of sport from rugby to gig rowing. I enjoy going beating and shooting where I am able to work my spaniels.
