Uncles brother use to have a dairy farm and has now converted to beef farming. Spent a year on a 350 short horned organic dairy farm where i was responsible for milking the herd in a 28/28 rapid exit parlour, also getting involved in routine vet days and tb testing. Also some days i would help by scraping out and bedding the cattle down, also done a bit of topping the field and pasture management. Also have recently spent 5 months milking on a 50 point rotary parlour milking around 560 cows, using a scraper tractor, pressure washing a variety of buildings and equipment. Also carried out calf rearing duties ranging from mucking out, de-horning, injecting, feeding, tubing
