I am enthusiastic and realistic about about my relevant skills and experience, used to hard work and long hours and would welcome employment with further training either on farm or in a formal setting. I enjoy teamwork and make friends easily, but have no problem working on my own. Although looking for permanant work, a temporary position whilst establishing in a new area would be welcome. We relocated in mid Febuary and so Lambing and Calving assistant positions with guidance would be ideal.

I have been interested in Farming since I was a schoolboy but decided on a different career path due to circumstance. I tried my hand at a few things including the leisure industry and building trade but was always happiest outdoors. Having made friends and acquaintances in the farming world I have volunteered my help whenever possible to help build skills and gain experience.
In 2009 I decided that the time had come to study full time for a formal Agricultural Qualification hopefull that this would assist me in gaining a more in depth understanding of Livestock production systems and lead to employment within the sector. I chose work experience at a local Dairy Farm which was very rewarding. 210 cows were milked twice daily through a 14/28 Herringbone parlour. All replacements were reared on farm along with the White Park's and Aberdeen Angus this totalled around 520 animals to look after.
