I spent six months on a 2000 acre arable farm near Brentwood and have been driving a self propelled sprayer, a 95e Caterpiller and John Deere 7530 tractors. Duties to include spraying, discing, ploughing,molling, subsoiling, carting and any general farm duties required by the business. Prior to the above role I was working for a local contractor and was with him from May 2011 until July of2012. For the previous two and a half years I was employed on a 2000 acre arable farm and have been supervisor of a 200 acre blackcurrant enterprise. I have spent the previous 8 years working in construction in the private sector. Jobs to include, digging footings, studwork, blockwork, plasterboarding, rendering and plastering. Before this I worked for four years for a clinical waste collection company driving a 3.5 tonne van. I also spent 8 years working on arable farms in the south east covering most field and yard activities.

Farming background

I have spent many years living and working on farms. I have good experience operating large scale arable machinery, to include; ploughing, power-harrowing, secondary cultivations, top-dressing and spraying. I also possess my p.a.1,p.a.2 . I have had extensive experience operating telehandlers and fork lift trucks, but currently do not have an in date ticket. I am looking for a long term and permanent position.
